For when Monday just seems too much, or this week, month or life right now…or, for me, when recovery kingdom takes hold, Amoy tiger tummy prevails, and I don’t want to face the world or even move from pyjama town. Yes, I’m still in my pyjamas.
Here are two videos to give hope, motivation and inspiration. It’s hard not being able to function at full speed, or how you once did…frustrating most of the time…yet there is a knowing that at some stage it will return to some kind of partial normality with a reformed energy that I know sits deep inside. I can’t wait to get back to being Rachel again, doing what Rachel does including cycling ‘b-b’ fixie. Cycling was (is) my freedom, my escape, part of me, as is art, words, music and ballet and so much more. The video below pretty much encompasses so much of how my life makes me feel, what I believe in and stand for…as you know I dream, dream big and make things happen (as much as I can) where people will always be and are the most important thing in my life. Here’s to embracing recovery kingdom, taking it all one day at a time and tomorrow being a new day…hopefully not in my pyjamas.
This is your life.
Do what you love.
If you don’t like something change it.
If you don’t like your job quit.
If you don’t have enough time stop watching TV.
If you are looking for the love of your life, stop, they will be waiting for you when you do the things you love.
Open you minds, hearts and arms to new things and people.
Getting lost will help you find yourself.
All emotions are beautiful.
Life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them.
Live your dream and share your passion.
Lonely but never alone.
We make our way, we choose our paths, we decide who we are.
We are pulled and pushed in the silence of our thoughts.
We ask the questions that aren’t always answered.
We arrive. Innocence is bliss, but fleeting.
We are the loved and the unloved.
The wanted and forlorn.
In between the light and the darkness, we find ourselves…lonely, but never alone.
