Skate time. A little nostalgia from China…a 2011 documentary called ‘Shanghai 5’ by Charles Lanceplaine that’s full of familiar faces and places, the infamous LP (Love Park), and talk that makes me realise how that city really gets under your skin, with a sense of drive for what you do, family and community in the people that surround you and the fact that there is more opportunity explore. My UK summer this year is very different to the Shanghai and Chinese summers I’ve experienced in the past…can you tell I’m missing my Shanghai family at the moment? Here’s to the heat and sunshine that the UK finally has…time for (ray) rays on my soul.
